BP-1002

How do I know which manual goes with my BP-1002?
You must look inside the beltpack to identify which board was installed. To do this you will need a Phillips head screwdriver. Follow these steps:
1. Remove the two screws on the sides of the beltpack closest to the Talk button and volume knob. Then pull the faceplate, which is attached to the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) until you can view the top of the board. (In reference with the faceplate facing you.)
Note: You do not have to completely remove the board or detach the wires to view this board number as shown in Figure 1.
2. The board number will be displayed in white lettering in this format: 9030-XXXX-XXX
Once you have located this number, it will either be 9030-7740-XXX, which REV. H of the BP-1002/2002 manual is based upon. Alternatively, it will be 9030-7832-XXX, which REV. J of the manual is based upon. Please see Figure 1 below for visual reference.

PS-2001L

How can I double the power on an Audiocom® channel while preserving the line audio level (AC Impedance) constant?
*If the user expanded the use of one channel beyond the DC capability of its power supply, the following is one method of how to double the DC power on a single channel while preserving the audio level and quality on that channel:
Use the PS-2001L as follows:
1. Disconnect the power source to the desired channel
2. Connect half of the system to the PS-2001L power supply CH#1
3. Connect the other half of the system to the PS-2001L power supply CH#2
4. Turn the operation switch (COMBINE/ISOLATE) on each power supply to the COMBINE position to route the audio from CH#1 to CH#2
The above application will provide the user with 2 amps of power (1 amp on each channel) while the audio is combined to allow both power supply channels 1 & 2 to operate as a single-channel intercom.
